With a lifetime of experience and involvement in the repair and restoration of Rolls Royce and Bentley cars, Shane Ashley-Carter has a unique family history and active passion for these types of fine motor vehicles.
A typical restoration project could involve the acquisition of a specific vehicle for the client, through our wide range of trusted contacts, to being handed a vehicle where we would carry out a full ‘condition’ report which details any essential work and determining a ‘starting point’ from which to base activities. We source parts and monitor the progress of work. We then deliver the completed vehicle safely to you.
The skills base adopted by SACCL can be applied to most makes of vintage/classic cars and we will project manage the whole process using the finest craftsmen and companies until the required work is completed.
Many projects are tackled in stages. This is done to either spread the cost or achieve a timed goal (such as a show or a rally) to suit the client.
Sometimes, clients are not looking for a specific vehicle. They may only be looking for a style or concept. This is no problem as SACCL, with its wide range of knowledge and experience. We can offer advice and suggestions on a suitable vehicle or provide a list of possible options that are currently available. As an example, one of our clients is currently enjoying his SACCL - sourced Jaguar XK150 Drop Head Coupe on a private rally driving through Vienna.
